changes

This is me, a few years after I started this blog. I have gotten my Real Estate license and this is my first month in the business. I have yet to gain any leads or any traction. Exposure is what I need. This business is tough and don't believe what you see or hear on the t.v. If you want something you have to go out and get it. Business doesn't fall into your lap, neither does a paycheck. You have to work for it, you have to be creative and have the mentality of a person who has everything. Don't let the fear of rejection or objection get in your way. Set a goal and tackle it. Getting started in this business I have seen people get denied I have seen agents sit and make deals, it's all motivating and I hope that my turn comes soon. Dealing with people is tough especially because you're dealing with peoe who are getting rid of their homes and starting a new chapter in their lives. It's a scary process for everyone but we all have to make moves in life, we can't sit still while time passes us. Follow your passion and do whatever it takes to make sure that you have a life worth living.

If you are into hookah here is a spot where you would love. The music is great, you can also plug in your music device into their speakers. the atmosphere is relaxed, comfy couches and if you would like to get more personal there is a larger room with a bed and carpets you can sit on. The lounge is covered in red lights which look even better as night comes and the smoke comes out. The flavors are ridiculously good. They all taste like bubble gum and candy. There is no sign of tobacco or harshness anywhere which means they know how to pack a nice bowl. I would say that you should come here on Friday evenings. There is no better way to end the week than to come here with a couple of friends and relax, and maybe even run into some cool people while you smoke. Each bowl last a while, about one hour but you can ask for more coals which make the bowl a lot stronger and enhances flavor. One complaint I had about this place was the price. I remember coming here and spending 30 dollars and up for one hookah and a few bottles of water, which were mandatory at the time (one drink minimum per person). This has since changed. The ordering menu is clear now with the prices labeled so you are not surprised when you receive the bill. They have even started serving Starbuzz tobacco which is very good quality shisha, but it takes some getting used to especially since each flavor is very unique and may turn you off from hookah. I usually stick with the 20 dollar hookahs which never disappointed me. The boss is also very nice and he will usually strike up conversation with you, just don't disrespect the place. This hookah bar overall is great to go to, it is right on second avenue and you can get there via the F train or M train to second avenue station and walking to east second street. The place is called Hade Bade and is usually open until about 3 or 4am. If you ever find yourself down by second avenue and you are with friends make sure you stop by, I totally recommend this place. P.s I suggest you eat before and make sure you buy a water before you smoke as you may get buzzed and have a headache during your smoke session otherwise. If not its always great to eat after your smoke session.
This was what the Fourth of July looked like from my roof, That guy up there lives on the fourth floor. What i loved most was how those three buildings were in the perfect position to block mostly every firework that was shot that night. I still had a pretty good night, and this picture ended up looking really nice to me because the buildings were in the way. Always find a different point of view in life and you will end up appreciating more.
Dark rainy nights like these are what make the city so fun, everyone runs and just the smell of rain and cars driving through it make me sleepy. I love this photo especially in black and white.
Hello there, you can call me Matt. Well everyone does so don't feel special for that. What you should feel special about is this. New York City. The city where love blossoms in the summer and sleep rarely occurs. What isn't there to do, for one we have infinite movie theaters, shopping districts, beautiful views, and much more. Every street contains bars and laughter, kids and adults. This is special, this city is what you should feel special about, You live here, You breath here, Its home to your imagination. We all dream of finding love and happiness, what we take for granted is that love and happiness can literally be a train stop away. Love this place for the dirt, the liveliness, the people. The fights you've had and the loves you've lost. For this is the city in which our history is being written, minute by minute we are here. Encountering something amazing every day is just normal for many, like me your host Matt. I have to admit, i take this place for granted. When I leave the city I feel weird, I can't imagine myself living anywhere else. For this is the place where I found love, My first kiss, my first broken heart, and my love for buildings. What you don't realize is that you are lucky. You are lucky to live in a place where taxis are in abundance and where hundreds of cultures can collide and rarely have issues. This is a place where we don't fear life's troubles because we face them everyday. New York city is the place where you lose your fears of mortality, because we live as if we are immortals. Let your imaginations linger, and let me inspire you to take advantage of these beautiful broken concrete streets, for these moments merely last for only a moment. Enjoy this blog where I will be posting many things, from people to buildings, skies cars and more. For everything in New York should be captured.
